Ukrainian drone operators: Russian infantry infiltration units suffer heavy losses

Ukrainian military drone operators have described to Radio Svoboda the heavy toll being inflicted on Russian infiltration units attempting to advance on foot along the front line.
According to the operators, out of every fifteen Russian soldiers sent forward in these small infiltration groups, only one survives the attempt.
Slower advance, higher losses
The report notes that Russia's overall advance across Ukrainian territory has slowed in recent times, even as the number of casualties Russian forces suffer per square kilometer captured has climbed 3.5-fold.
The figures point to Ukraine's continued reliance on drone surveillance and strikes to detect and eliminate Russian soldiers moving on foot toward Ukrainian positions, a factor contributing to the rising cost Russia is paying for limited territorial gains.
