Ukraine's military leadership has adjusted a previously planned troop redeployment. According to the outlet Ukrainska Pravda, Drapatii has cancelled an order issued by commander-in-chief Syrskyi that called for moving troops from the Donetsk region to the Volyn region.

Corps redirected to Zaporizhzhia

According to available information, the 7th Airborne Assault Corps, which had been stationed in the Volyn region, was redirected not to the Donetsk region as originally planned, but instead to the Zaporizhzhia direction.

The outlet does not specify the reasons behind the reversal, but such a cancellation points to the ongoing redistribution of Ukrainian forces in response to shifting conditions along the front line. Moving units between different sectors of the front is a routine practice within the Ukrainian military as it continues to defend the country against Russia's full-scale invasion.

The Zaporizhzhia direction remains one of the active combat sectors where Ukrainian forces are working to hold their positions under pressure from Russian troops. At the same time, the Donetsk region continues to be one of the most intense areas of fighting.

Further details about the circumstances behind the decision, or whether additional troop reallocations are planned for other front sectors, have not yet been made public.
