International competition exhibition 'Teodors'26' opens in Mālpils
The second international competition exhibition 'Teodors'26' has opened in Mālpils at the Skulme family home and the historic Art Manor. A sculpture symposium concludes tomorrow, with its resulting works to be placed in the surrounding landscape.

Mālpils is currently the site of several concurrent art events. The second international competition exhibition, titled 'Teodors'26', has opened at the home of the legendary Skulme family of artists, as well as at the historic Art Manor located on the opposite bank of the river.
Symposium wraps up tomorrow
Running alongside the exhibition is the third sculpture symposium, 'Teodors and Marta in Nature', which will conclude tomorrow. The sculptural works created during the symposium will subsequently be placed within the surrounding landscape, adding new pieces to the area's art environment.
Together, the exhibition and the symposium form a single creative undertaking that is currently drawing attention to Mālpils as an art hub closely tied to the legacy of the Skulme family.
