Omilia, a Cyprus-headquartered company specialising in self-learning AI agents for customer experience, has closed a Series B funding round of €58.1 million ($67 million), led by Expedition Growth Capital.

The company said the capital will support continued growth acceleration in North America and worldwide, including the opening of its first US office in the second half of 2026. The funding round follows a series of senior appointments as Omilia expands its global commercial organisation.

Founded in 2002 by Dimitris Vassos, Pelias Ioannidis and John Nikolaidis, Omilia builds AI-driven customer experience tools for large enterprises, including those in regulated sectors such as banking, insurance and healthcare. Its self-learning agents are designed to automate customer interactions, support human agents in real time, and deliver personalised experiences across channels.

Large-scale deployments

Among its notable deployments, Omilia says its platform handles over 1 million calls per day for a major US bank, and supports one of the largest real-time agent-assist programmes for a multinational insurance company, processing more than 600,000 calls daily. The company also introduced Lexis, a new generative text-to-speech model built for enterprise contact centres.

Since its Series A round, Omilia reports its annual recurring revenue has grown more than tenfold to over €52 million, without raising additional equity in the interim. In July, the company announced an expanded partnership with Taco Bell, whose voice AI deployment now spans over 1,000 US locations across 38 states.

Omilia's client list also includes Capital One, Discover, RBC and other major international brands.
