English and French champions stumble against Spanish clubs in friendlies
Paris Saint-Germain lost 0-3 to Mallorca, while Arsenal were beaten 1-3 by Real Betis in pre-season friendly matches.

Paris Saint-Germain suffered a 0-3 defeat to Mallorca in a friendly on Wednesday. The Spanish side scored in the 21st, 40th and 51st minutes through Zitu Luvumbu, Jan Virhili and Antonio Raijo. PSG managed only eight shots compared to Mallorca's 17.
This was PSG's first of two warm-up matches ahead of the UEFA Super Cup against Birmingham's Aston Villa on August 12 and the French Super Cup against Lens on August 16. Their next friendly is scheduled for Saturday in Gothenburg against Manchester United.
Arsenal, who had earlier beaten Girona 4-1 in their first pre-season match, lost 1-3 to Real Betis. All four goals came in the first half. Rodrigo Riquelme, Nelson Deos and Pablo Fornals found the net for Betis, while Ecuadorian Piero Incapi scored Arsenal's only goal. Arsenal recorded nine shots, one fewer than their opponents' ten.
On Sunday, Arsenal are set to face Borussia Dortmund in the Emirates Cup.
