Zelenskyy at Kyiv Strike Site: If Partners Gave Enough Air Defense, We Would Have Saved More Lives
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, visiting the site of a Russian strike in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, criticized Western partners for not providing sufficient air defense missiles to repel massive attacks. He stressed that Ukraine only asks for what has already been agreed.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday visited the site of a Russian strike in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, where he reproached Western partners for not delivering enough air defense missiles. The president stated that if partners had provided what they promised in a timely manner, more homes and lives could have been saved.
According to Zelenskyy, to intercept approximately 70 ballistic missiles, Ukraine needs at least 140 Patriot missiles. He emphasized that Ukraine lacks sufficient missiles for the Patriot systems to fend off massive Russian attacks.
"We fight alone. The victims are exclusively Ukrainian. We need partners to simply do what they agreed on. Because we don't even ask for more," Zelenskyy said.
The Kyiv city military administration and the State Emergency Service reported that the death toll from the combined Russian attack in Kyiv has risen to 21 people.
