In the early hours of the morning, a fire broke out in a family home in the Jelgava area, leaving a family of four homeless. The fire started around 2 AM while the family was asleep. The mother, Maira, woke up to a strong smell of smoke and saw the veranda engulfed in flames. She immediately woke her husband and their two children, aged six and eight. They had to escape through windows as the fire spread quickly. Once outside, they called emergency services and waited for help. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the house was completely destroyed. Relatives and neighbors quickly came to their aid, offering practical help and emotional support. The family now faces the challenge of finding a new place to live, as their home is no longer habitable.
