On election night, with approximately 20% of ballots counted, the party "Apvienotais saraksts" (United List, AS) has emerged with a clear and substantial lead over its rivals. The figures were published on the website of the Central Election Commission (CVK).

Seven parties clear the threshold

At this stage of the count, seven parties have reached or exceeded the 5% support threshold — the level typically required under proportional systems for a party to gain seats in the legislature. This suggests voter support is spread across several competitors, even though the frontrunner, Apvienotais saraksts, has built a sizeable margin over the rest of the field.

Count still underway

It should be stressed that these are interim, not final, results. Vote counting was continuing on election night, and the standings among parties could still shift as remaining polling-station protocols are processed. The Election Commission is publishing and updating results on its website, and the final order among the parties that cleared the 5% threshold may yet be adjusted.

The information available so far does not allow for precise percentage figures for individual parties, but it is clear that Apvienotais saraksts currently holds a leading position with a notable gap over its closest rivals.
