German state weighs Latvian AI platform from Tilde for public administration

A Latvian company eyeing the European market
Tilde is a Latvia-based company specializing in language technologies and artificial intelligence solutions. Its tools are positioned as an alternative to platforms from major non-European technology companies, with an emphasis on data security and digital independence from solutions built outside the European Union.
Should the cooperation with Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's state government be confirmed, it could become an important reference point for the Latvian technology firm in the German and wider European public-sector market. Interest from several German municipalities suggests that questions of security and data sovereignty are gaining growing weight in digital procurement decisions across European public administrations.
