Trackhouse Aprilia Extends Contract with Raul Fernandez
Trackhouse Aprilia has reached a long-negotiated agreement with Raul Fernandez, keeping the Spanish MotoGP rider for two more seasons.

Trackhouse Aprilia has officially confirmed that Raul Fernandez will remain with the team for the next two seasons. The agreement comes after nearly six months of negotiations, with the main sticking point being the length of the contract. Fernandez pushed for a two-year deal, while the team initially preferred more flexible arrangements.
Team owner Justin Marks expressed satisfaction with the outcome, saying the organization is thrilled that Fernandez will stay. He emphasized that the Spaniard has been fully committed to the team’s mission from the start and has grown both as a rider and as a person in terms of preparation, approach, and maturity. Marks also voiced confidence that the team and its bikes can become a constant force in the championship, and that Fernandez can contribute to reaching new heights.
Fernandez made his MotoGP debut in 2022 after a standout Moto2 season in which he took eight victories, finishing second overall behind his teammate Remy Gardner. His first season with Tech3 KTM proved difficult, but he later found his place in the Aprilia satellite squad now known as Trackhouse. He is currently in his third campaign with the team.
Last year, Fernandez secured his first Grand Prix win in Australia. This season he has already scored several podiums, including in the last two rounds, and sits sixth in the riders’ standings.
