Legendary "Auto Union" race car to appear on Riga's streets during city festival

The program for Riga's 825th anniversary celebrations includes a rare piece of automotive history on display. On Saturday, August 15, the Riga Motor Museum, in cooperation with the Riga City Council, will give residents and visitors the chance to see the legendary "Auto Union Type C" race car.
A historic exhibit on city streets
The event was announced by the Riga City Council's External Communications Division. The car will be placed on the city's streets, allowing anyone interested to view it in person during the festival celebrations.
The "Auto Union Type C" is one of the most notable race cars of the 1930s, and its appearance during Riga's city festival adds an element of automotive heritage to the anniversary celebrations.
