"Nu i nedelya" show discusses election results and prospects for the next government
LSM's Russian-language program "Nu i nedelya!" examined the election results, a possible coalition and the role of Russian-speaking voters. The panel included a journalist, a political scientist and a film director.

The Russian-language desk of LSM has released a new video episode of its weekly analysis show "Nu i nedelya!" (roughly "Well, What a Week!"). The episode deals with questions arising from the recent elections and their effect on Latvia's political landscape.
Topics on the agenda
Participants considered whether the Progressives and the National Alliance could coexist in one coalition. They also discussed what changes might be expected from a government led by Kulbergs.
Another topic was a so-called "Netflix tax", with the panel talking about why such a levy should be introduced. The episode's title also refers to political manipulation and to the votes of Russian-speaking residents.
Who took part
The discussion was hosted by LSM journalist Roman Shmelev. He was joined by political scientist and professor Juris Rozenvalds, and by film director Stanislav Tokalov, who heads the Latvian Guild of Film Directors.
The program is available as a video on LSM's Russian-language website. The short description published with it does not reveal the panelists' conclusions or specific election figures, so their views can be heard only in the full recording.
