After days of heavy rain and cool weather, conditions in Latvia will start improving on Sunday, with forecasters predicting dry, sunny weather and temperatures reaching up to +22°C next week.
Following several days of persistent rain and cool temperatures, Latvia is set for a noticeable improvement in weather conditions in the coming days.
The weekend
The last Saturday of September will still be cloudy, with periods of rain expected. Winds will be light to moderate from the south or southwest, becoming gustier along the coast. Nighttime temperatures will range from +9 to +14 degrees, warming to +11..+16 degrees during the day.
On Sunday, conditions will begin to noticeably improve, with sunshine alternating with clouds and no precipitation expected. Winds will be light, and air temperatures will rise to +15..+19 degrees.
Next week
Forecasters expect mostly dry and sunny weather across Latvia next week. Winds will blow lightly to moderately from the south or southeast. Cooler morning temperatures may drop to +3..+10 degrees, while warmer afternoons could see temperatures climb to +17..+22 degrees.
There is also a chance that the second week of October will remain unusually dry and warm for the season.
