Musiala collapses during match for second time in four days
Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala collapsed during a match on Tuesday for the second time in four days. The club says he will speak publicly about the incidents soon.

Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala collapsed during a friendly match against Heidenheim on Tuesday, just six minutes after coming on as a substitute. Bayern went on to win the match 4-2.
The 23-year-old appeared dazed following the collapse, received medical treatment on the pitch and had to be helped off.
This marked the second such incident within a week, after Musiala also collapsed during Saturday's friendly against RB Leipzig in Munich, which Bayern won 3-1.
Club response
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl said on Tuesday that the club was aware of the situation and that Musiala would speak out about it in the near future. Eberl noted that after the latest incident, the player was in the dressing room changing and showering.
Hot weather was considered a likely factor in Saturday's collapse, with temperatures exceeding 30C at the time.
Musiala missed the first six months of last season after breaking his ankle at the 2025 Club World Cup. He returned to action in the second half of the campaign and started three of Germany's four matches at the 2026 World Cup.
