Five drones enter Moldovan airspace, explosions heard in several towns
Moldova's airspace monitoring system detected five drones crossing the country on Saturday morning, with explosions heard in multiple locations and drone debris found. No injuries have been reported.

Moldova's airspace surveillance system detected five drones crossing the country's territory on Saturday morning between 7:45 and 8:00 a.m., according to data from the National Army's air operations service cited by Moldovan outlet "NewsMaker".
The drones were spotted near several towns, including Anenii Noi, Ștefan Vodă, Hâncești, Todiresti and Căușeni. Moldova's Defense Ministry said the incident coincided with a massive Russian strike on Ukraine.
Explosions and debris reported
Surveillance data showed that explosions were heard in several populated areas. Police and army units have launched an investigation into the incident.
Drone wreckage emitting smoke was found near Căușeni. Debris was also discovered in two other locations. In Crocmaz, a downed drone sparked a fire in a vineyard, burning dry vegetation, while windows were shattered in a nearby building.
According to information available to police, no one was injured in the incidents.
Moldova has repeatedly experienced similar incidents involving drones entering its airspace in connection with Russian attacks on Ukraine.
