Two men accused of thefts worth over €3,000 in Liepāja
Latvia's State Police have moved to charge two men suspected of stealing from garages and a new building under construction in Liepāja, with damages exceeding €3,000.

The State Police have initiated proceedings to bring charges against two men in connection with a series of thefts in Liepāja. The information was confirmed by Madara Šeršņova, a spokesperson for the State Police Public Relations Division.
According to police information, the two men are suspected of stealing property from several garages as well as from a building under construction in the city. The total damage caused by the thefts is estimated at more than €3,000.
The case has now moved forward so that formal charges can be brought against the two suspects. Police have not released further details about the specific properties involved or the circumstances of the thefts.
