Latvian National Opera Opens Festival with New Production of Puccini's 'La Bohème'

Despite ongoing renovations, the Latvian National Opera and Ballet Theatre has started its annual opera festival in early June, featuring a new staging of Giacomo Puccini's 'La Bohème' conducted by Arvo Volmer, artistic director of the Estonian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Renovations at the Latvian National Opera and Ballet Theatre have not yet been fully completed, but the opera festival is taking place as usual. In early June, the festival opened with a new production of Giacomo Puccini's 'La Bohème'. The conductor was Arvo Volmer, the artistic director of the Estonian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
