Latvia Delivers 14 Armored Vehicles to Ukraine's 3rd Army Corps
During his first visit to Ukraine, Latvian Defense Minister Raivis Melnis handed over 14 CVRT armored vehicles to the 3rd Army Corps, with a total of 41 planned for delivery.

Latvian Defense Minister Raivis Melnis, on his first official visit to Ukraine, personally handed over the first 14 CVRT armored vehicles to the Ukrainian 3rd Army Corps. The vehicles were transferred from the Adazi Mechanized Infantry Brigade. The Latvian government has committed to delivering a total of 41 such vehicles to Ukraine.
Melnis stated that the armored vehicles will enhance the Ukrainian military's ability to fight Russian aggression and will save soldiers' lives. During the visit, he also met with Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, and the two ministers agreed on joint efforts to develop unmanned systems.
Earlier, on June 9, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with new Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs at the Nordic-Baltic Eight summit in Estonia, where they signed a so-called Drone Deal — an agreement on drone technology.
