Writing on social media, Klitschko said the district had been hit by a drone strike on a warehouse building, that the fire was raging, and that emergency services were on the scene.
Preceding events
On Saturday evening, three districts of Kyiv reported drone strikes or falling debris from intercepted drones. This followed a heavy Russian assault on the capital on September 25, when a massed drone strike hit an office building in the Solomianskyi district and a residential building in the Pecherskyi district. That earlier attack killed seven people and injured another 59.
