Drones strike Russian oil depot in Krasnodar region that sources fuel from major refineries

Overnight on September 28, unmanned aerial vehicles struck an oil depot in Russia's Krasnodar region, causing a large-scale fire. The news was reported by Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channels Exilenova+ and Supernova+, as well as Russian outlet ASTRA.

According to ASTRA, residents of the Novotitarovskaya stanitsa reported drone flyovers and multiple explosions overnight, saying they occurred near a railway. Analyzing footage from eyewitnesses, the outlet determined that the fire broke out at an oil depot belonging to the Krasnodar-based company Edelweiss-95 LLC, a wholesale petroleum products trader.

Photos and videos published by monitoring Telegram channels show a large fire at the oil depot. According to ASTRA, the company's main business is wholesale supply of diesel fuel and gasoline. The depot has a capacity of 4,500 cubic meters and includes its own railway line for loading and receiving fuel.

The company's website states that Edelweiss-95 purchases its products directly from Russia's largest oil refineries.
