Koknese Library Delivers Books to Homebound Seniors and People with Health Issues
Staff at Koknese Library visit readers who cannot come to the library once a month, bringing books, magazines, and newspapers.

Not all library patrons are able to visit the library in person. For seniors and individuals with health impairments, the journey to the library is often too difficult or even impossible. To address this, the staff of Koknese Library travel to their readers' homes once a month. They bring along books, magazines, and newspapers, ensuring that those who cannot visit continue to enjoy reading. This initiative helps maintain a connection with the library and promotes literacy and access to information.
