Two truck drivers killed in Kyiv collision when one truck runs over its own driver
On June 26, a collision between two trucks on Boryspilske Highway in Kyiv left both drivers dead. One victim was run over by his own vehicle after the other truck struck it while he was repairing it underneath.

A serious traffic accident involving two trucks occurred on June 26 on Boryspilske Highway in Kyiv, resulting in the deaths of both drivers, according to Kyiv police.
According to the police, a 60-year-old driver of a Mercedes truck had stopped due to a technical fault and was performing repairs under his vehicle. Meanwhile, a 37-year-old driver of another Mercedes truck, traveling in the same direction, failed to notice the stationary truck and collided with it. The impact pushed the stationary truck forward, causing it to run over its own driver, who was underneath conducting repairs.
Both drivers died at the scene from their injuries. A criminal investigation has been launched under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which addresses violations of road traffic safety or vehicle operation rules committed by drivers.
