Access to Latvia's unified website platform (TVP), which hosts a number of state and municipal institution websites, has been temporarily suspended. The decision was made to protect the platform from possible cyberattacks linked to two critical vulnerabilities in PHP software, according to the State Chancellery, a government body.

With access to the platform closed, a range of state and local government websites will not be available to the public until the necessary vulnerabilities are fixed. The source does not say how long the outage may last, which specific institutions are affected, or whether any actual attacks have been recorded.

Suspending access is a precautionary step intended to prevent potential attacks while the software security flaws are being addressed.
