Heat to Continue, Rain Only in West – Weather Forecast for Early July
The first days of July in Ukraine will be hot, with short-term rains and thunderstorms expected only in the western regions, while from July 3 the heat in the west will slightly decrease.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, from July 1 to July 3, the western regions will experience short-term rains, thunderstorms, locally hail and squalls of 15-20 m/s. The rest of the country will have no precipitation. Night temperatures will range from 16-23°C, while daytime temperatures will reach 27-34°C. On July 1, extreme heat of 35-38°C is expected in the southwest.
In the capital Kyiv, July 1-2 will be dry, with nighttime temperatures of 22-24°C and daytime highs up to +33°C. On July 3, short-term rains, thunderstorms, locally hail and squalls are forecast in the west and north; elsewhere, no precipitation. In western regions, nighttime temperatures will be 17-23°C and daytime only 18-25°C. In the rest of the country, nighttime values of 21-24°C and daytime highs up to +34°C are expected. On Friday, light rain is expected in Kyiv, with nighttime temperatures of 23-25°C and daytime highs up to +32°C.
