Latvia's Duinovs loses second bout at judo World Championships

Latvian judoka Maksims Duinovs lost his second bout at the World Judo Championships in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on Friday, 9 October. The world championships are the main international competition in this combat sport, with athletes from many countries taking part.

The information available from the LETA news agency is very brief. It says only that Duinovs was defeated in his second match of the tournament. The source does not state his weight category, who his opponent was, what the score was, or whether he will continue in the tournament, for example through repechage rounds.

Further details on Duinovs' participation in the championships can be added once more information becomes available.
