14 heavily intoxicated drivers caught on Latvian roads in one day

Latvia's State Police reported that over the past 24 hours, 14 drivers were caught heavily intoxicated with alcohol and one more under the influence of drugs.

Latvia's State Police has reported that over the past day, several drivers were stopped on the country's roads while under the influence of intoxicating substances.

In total, 14 drivers were caught with a high level of alcohol intoxication. Another driver was stopped for operating a vehicle while under the influence of narcotic substances.

Police continue to monitor traffic and carry out checks aimed at preventing driving under the influence of intoxicating substances.
