For anyone looking to vary their daily menu, a cooking column presents four new recipes that can be made at home without complicated ingredients.

Zucchini pancake rolls

Grated zucchini mixed with eggs, flour and dill herbs becomes thin pancakes, which are spread with cream cheese or sour cream after frying. The filling consists of fresh cucumber and lightly salted salmon cut into strips, rolled up inside the pancake. The finished roll can be sliced into pieces for serving.

Lavash cottage cheese rolls with cherries

Cottage cheese is mixed with sugar and egg, spread over a sheet of lavash, and topped with halved, pitted cherries. The rolled-up piece is cut into portions, dipped in beaten egg, sprinkled with sesame seeds, and fried in a pan or baked in the oven until done. Sour cream or ice cream can be served alongside.

Tomatoes in garlic and dill marinade

Sliced fresh tomatoes are covered with a marinade of olive oil, apple cider vinegar, chopped garlic, dill, salt and pepper. After an hour the tomatoes are already ready to eat, though they can also be left in the refrigerator longer for a more intense flavor.

Boiled condensed milk cream dessert

Boiled condensed milk is mixed with thick sour cream and diced banana, with cocoa balls or crushed cookies added. The mixture is smoothed into a mold and chilled in the refrigerator until the flavors combine, then served dusted with cocoa powder. The author notes that classic cookies suit the dessert's texture and flavor better than dry breakfast cereal balls.
