Roughly half of Latvia's workers, 51% to be exact, would be willing to change industries if they lost their jobs. This follows from a survey whose results were published by the recruitment company SIA "Alma Career Latvia", known for the job portal "CV.lv".

The figures indicate that more than half of employees see a move to another field as a possible option if they had to look for new work. Such willingness can matter when a person is left without a job and there are too few openings in their previous industry.

The announcement mentions only this main result. No further details about how the survey was conducted, or about differences between groups of employees, were provided.
