US actress Molly Ringwald, who rose to fame in 1980s Hollywood films, posted new photos from an event in New York. Fans, and fellow actress Alyssa Milano, praised her appearance in the comments.

Hollywood actress Molly Ringwald, who became famous through roles in 1980s films, has posted new photos on social media at age 58. Fans responded warmly to her appearance, and the images drew many compliments.
The actress attended an event at Carnegie Hall, the concert venue in New York, devoted to the work of composers Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. Backstage, she posed for a photo with Broadway stars Leslie Odom Jr. and Daren Criss. Ringwald shared the picture on Instagram, captioning it as being backstage with the two performers.
For the occasion she chose a black evening gown with decorative details at the neckline and a thin metallic belt. Her red hair was styled in soft curls, and the look was completed with expressive eye makeup and dark red lipstick. One fan commented that she simply does not age, while another said she looks breathtaking. Actress Alyssa Milano wrote: “You are so beautiful!”
Skincare and lifestyle
In a recent interview, Ringwald said one of the most important products in her daily skincare routine is retinol. Because her skin is sensitive, finding a suitable product took time. She also likes experimenting with decorative cosmetics and sees makeup as a chance for creative expression. As a teenager she disliked her own summer freckles and tried to cover them with makeup. Her daughter Adele inherited the interest in beauty: during the Covid-19 pandemic the two watched makeup tutorials together.
The mother of three runs regularly and does yoga, but does not follow strict diets. She says she tries to choose healthy, preferably organically grown food while still enjoying eating, and adds that she is lucky to have good genes.
Ringwald became widely known for roles in the films “Sixteen Candles” (1984), “The Breakfast Club” (1985) and “Pretty in Pink” (1986). She remains active in the entertainment industry.
