Sweden's Klang raises €1.32 million and launches open speech-to-text model for Swedish
Helsingborg-based conversation AI startup Klang has raised €1.32 million in fresh funding and released an open-source speech-to-text model for the Swedish language.
Klang, an artificial intelligence company based in Helsingborg, Sweden, which transcribes, summarises and analyses interviews, meetings and dialogues, has raised €1.32 million (SEK 15 million) in a new funding round.
The round values the company at €13.2 million (SEK 150 million). It was backed by existing owners and led by entrepreneur and tech investor Johan Lenander together with Emil Sjödin.
Alongside the funding announcement, Klang has also released an open-source speech-to-text model designed for the Swedish language.
