The WOG gas station network announced on social media that from 23:00 on July 1 to 07:00 on July 2, all stations in Kyiv and the Kyiv region will be closed. The reason cited is a possible massive Russian shelling and the need to ensure the safety of staff and customers.

Earlier, WOG reported that a special operating mode would be introduced in several regions of Ukraine. From July 1, in Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson regions, and part of Poltava region, stations will not operate from 21:00 to 07:00. At night, all external lighting will be turned off, and during air raids, fuel sales will be suspended, including via the remote refueling service WOG PAY.

The current schedule and availability of remote refueling can be checked in the WOG PRIDE app and on the website wog.ua. WOG also recommends not leaving vehicles or planning overnight stays for large transport near gas stations.

It should be recalled that on the night of July 1, Russian forces attacked five gas stations in Dnipropetrovsk region, killing one woman and injuring three people. WOG confirmed that the deceased, Oksana Melnychenko, had worked as an operator for the WOG network for over nine years.
