The Hungarian low-cost carrier has started twice-weekly direct flights from Vilnius to Montenegro’s capital Podgorica, expanding summer travel options from Lithuania.

Wizz Air has launched direct flights from Vilnius to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, operating twice a week as part of the summer season schedule. The new route aims to improve connectivity between Lithuania and the Balkans.
“Podgorica is another European capital now conveniently reachable from Vilnius,” said Simonas Bartkus, CEO of Lithuanian Airports, noting that the new service expands summer travel options across the region.
The Hungarian low-cost carrier already flies from Vilnius to numerous destinations, including Tirana, Prague, Larnaca, Tallinn, Budapest, Reykjavík, Tel Aviv, as well as cities in Italy, Poland, England, Spain, France, and Germany.
The announcement comes as Lithuanian Airports continues to expand its network of direct flights, offering more choices for travelers seeking both leisure and business connections.
