In Warsaw, a 29-year-old man attacked a police officer near the building of the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime on Wawozowa Street. The officer was on his way to work when the suspect struck him on the head with brass knuckles and fled. Police later spotted the suspect near the Kabaty metro station and attempted to detain him. During the arrest, the man attacked other officers. One officer was hit on the leg with brass knuckles, sustaining a serious injury and was taken to the hospital. The other two officers suffered minor injuries.

According to preliminary information, the suspect did not target a specific individual – his goal was to attack a police officer dealing with cybercrime. The man claimed that he was being followed and wiretapped by special services. The circumstances of the incident and his motives are under investigation.

In related news, in January, police conducted a special operation at the central station in Cologne, Germany, after a man with a machete was found on a train. Additionally, in southern France, a man wielding a machete was shot dead after attacking police during an arrest.
