Police seek public help to locate missing mother and daughter

The State Police of Latvia have asked the public for help in establishing the whereabouts of Liene Janševska, born in 1995, and her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter Elīza. The mother and child were last seen on 12 August this year in the town of Cēsis. Since then their location has been unknown, and police officers are continuing their search for them.

According to the information released by the police, Janševska is approximately 175 centimetres tall and has a rounded build. She has long dark hair and freckles on her face. On the last occasion she was observed, she was wearing a red jumper, black leggings and white Adidas sports shoes. She also carried a white handbag.

The police are asking anyone who may know where the missing mother and daughter are to contact them without delay. They are also asking people to look carefully at the photographs of Liene and Elīza that have been published in connection with the search. Information can be provided by calling the emergency number 112 or the dedicated telephone number 29150012.

Police point out that even the smallest detail may play a significant role in the search. The cooperation of the public is essential in order to find the missing pair and ensure their safety. Authorities have expressed gratitude to everyone who responds to the appeal and provides any relevant information.
