Ukrainian company SkyFall has publicly presented its newest development, a one-way attack drone named the P1-SUN JetKiller, designed to intercept enemy aerial targets. The manufacturer states the drone can fly distances of up to 600 kilometers.

Limited technical details

SkyFall has not yet disclosed more precise specifications for the new weapon, making it difficult at this stage to fully assess how effectively it will perform an air-defense role in Ukraine's war against Russia.

A cheaper alternative to expensive missiles

The new drone gives Ukraine a relatively low-cost option for striking targets located deep within enemy-controlled territory. This allows more expensive, higher-precision missiles to be reserved for higher-priority missions, while cheaper drones can be used for a broader range of tasks.

The drone has reportedly already entered serial production, reflecting Ukraine's ongoing efforts to expand its domestically manufactured military equipment, reducing reliance on foreign supplies while increasing the volume of weapons available in the prolonged conflict with Russia.
