Ukraine's military said it launched one of the largest drone attacks of the war against Russian territory overnight into Sunday, deploying roughly 600 drones. Among the targets hit was a missile fuel production facility in Russia's Rostov region, according to Ukrainian officials.

In the Moscow region, a fire broke out at a warehouse complex in the town of Koledino, where facilities belonging to online retailer Wildberries are located. The regional governor said the blaze followed a Ukrainian drone strike.

At the same time, Russian forces carried out a missile attack on Kyiv overnight into Sunday. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the strike ignited fires in at least two districts of the Ukrainian capital.

Escalating exchanges

The overnight events point to Ukraine intensifying long-range strikes deep into Russian territory, targeting infrastructure with military and economic significance, including fuel and missile production facilities. Russia, meanwhile, continues missile and drone strikes on populated areas in Ukraine, including the capital Kyiv.

The mutual attacks suggest the intensity of the war has not eased, even as the international community continues to call for negotiations. Detailed information on casualties and damage on either side has not yet been released.
