Ukraine to greet October with warmth up to 21°C and fog in the west
On September 30 and October 1, most of Ukraine will see mostly dry, mild weather with daytime highs up to 21°C, while western regions expect fog at night and in the morning.
According to Ukraine's Hydrometeorological Center, the country will experience mostly dry weather on September 30 and October 1, with daytime air temperatures reaching 15 to 21 degrees Celsius. An exception applies to the Azov Sea coast and Crimea, where brief rain showers are expected in places on both days.
Fog and wind
Over these three days, western regions will see fog in places during the night and morning hours. Winds will blow from the northeast, and from the east in western areas, at speeds of 7 to 12 meters per second.
Temperature swings
Nighttime temperatures will range from 3 to 9 degrees above zero, though the south and southeast may stay as warm as 12 degrees. For September 30 specifically, forecasters predict variable cloudiness, with brief rain in places along the Azov coast and in Crimea during the day, while the rest of the country stays dry. Nighttime temperatures that day will range from 3 to 8 degrees, reaching up to 12 in the south and southeast, and dropping to around zero in the Carpathians. Daytime air will warm to 15–20 degrees.
