Latvia to see short-lived rain in places on Wednesday, cooler weather
Meteorologists forecast brief rain showers in parts of Latvia on Wednesday, mainly in the Vidzeme, Latgale and Sēlija regions, alongside relatively cool temperatures.

Forecasters say parts of Latvia can expect short spells of rain on Wednesday, with the wet weather concentrated mainly in the Vidzeme, Latgale and Sēlija regions. Other parts of the country are expected to stay drier.
Temperatures before sunrise
According to data from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LVĢMC), air temperatures shortly before sunrise ranged from +8 to +11 degrees Celsius across most of the country. Warmer conditions were recorded along the Vidzeme coast and in parts of the Kurzeme coast, where temperatures reached +14 to +17 degrees.
Meteorologists describe Wednesday overall as a relatively cool day.
