Rain to ease across Latvia on Wednesday as temperatures climb to 21°C
Meteorologists forecast that rain on Wednesday will be limited to parts of Latvia, mainly the central and eastern regions, while daytime temperatures rise to as high as 21°C.

Forecasters say Wednesday will bring notably less rain across Latvia than recent days, with only isolated, brief showers expected, mostly in the central and eastern parts of the country.
Wind and temperature
Over the next 24 hours, cloud cover will be variable. Winds will blow from the west and northwest at slow to moderate speeds, with gusts reaching 9–14 meters per second, and up to 16 meters per second along the Vidzeme coast.
Overnight temperatures will drop to between +8 and +13 degrees Celsius, staying milder near the coast at around +16 degrees. Daytime temperatures will rise to +17..+21 degrees.
Conditions in Riga
In the capital, light rain is still possible overnight and during the first half of the day, with northwesterly gusts potentially reaching 16 meters per second. Temperatures in Riga will range from +15 degrees at night to +19 degrees during the day.
On Wednesday evening, when a solar eclipse will be visible across Latvia, weather conditions are expected to be relatively favorable, with light and variable cloud cover.
