Trump: Zelenskyy 'doing not bad'

US President Donald Trump commented positively on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's performance during a press conference alongside NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. When asked whether Zelenskyy is currently winning the war, Trump responded that he is "doing not bad" and "hanging in there." Trump added that Zelenskyy is brave, has great fighters and equipment, but noted many casualties on both sides.

The remark came a day after Trump told Zelenskyy at a G7 dinner in Évian-les-Bains that he was impressed by Kyiv's recent battlefield successes.
