Trump Unveils Special US Passport Design with His Portrait for 250th Anniversary
US President Donald Trump released a new design for a limited-edition anniversary passport featuring his image to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States.

US President Donald Trump on Friday published on Truth Social a design for a special 250th-anniversary passport. The sample page shows Trump standing at the Resolute desk, with the text of the Declaration of Independence in the background and his signature below. The opposite page features John Trumbull's painting "Declaration of Independence."
The White House account on X later posted the same sketch with the caption: "The new US passport celebrating America's 250th anniversary." When asked whether this was the official design for the anniversary passports, the White House referred inquiries to the State Department.
Earlier this year, the State Department had released a different image of Trump for the redesigned passports. Additionally, a federal commission—all of whose members were appointed by Trump—approved a 24-karat gold anniversary coin bearing the president's image to commemorate the 250th anniversary. Last year, Trump also introduced a "gold card" for wealthy foreigners featuring his own likeness.
