According to the publication, most people who attempt the quiz fail to get through all the questions, dropping out before even reaching the ones about modern times. The quiz's creators invite readers to test whether they belong to the rare few who truly understand how the Latvian state and its history took shape over the centuries.

As an illustration of one of the trickier questions, the quiz authors cite an example about widespread peasant unrest that broke out in Vidzeme in 1802. Participants must choose the correct answer from three options: the Kauguri unrest, the Cours' uprising, or the Riga riot.
