TechCrunch offers laid-off workers discounted pass to Disrupt 2026 conference
TechCrunch is offering the first 100 eligible laid-off workers a Disrupt 2026 Expo+ Pass for $75. The event takes place in San Francisco from October 13-15.
Technology outlet TechCrunch has announced a special offer for people who have recently lost their jobs: the first 100 qualifying applicants can secure a Disrupt 2026 Expo+ Pass for just $75. The deal remains available only until all 100 passes are claimed, or no later than when the conference opens on October 13 at 8 a.m. Pacific time, whichever comes first.
Disrupt 2026 will be held at Moscone West in San Francisco from October 13 to 15, drawing more than 10,000 attendees, including startup founders, investors, and industry leaders.
What the Expo+ Pass includes
The discounted pass grants access to the Expo Hall, where more than 300 exhibiting startups will be present, as well as entry to breakout sessions featuring industry experts and Q&A opportunities. The pass also covers side events held across the broader Bay Area tech community during what organizers call "Disrupt Week," running from October 10 to 16.
Pass holders can also use the TechCrunch Events app, which includes AI-powered matchmaking to help attendees find relevant contacts based on their interests and goals, along with tools for arranging one-on-one meetings or striking up impromptu conversations at the venue.
According to the organizers, the pass does not include access to the main industry stages or roundtable sessions, which require separate, more comprehensive ticket options.
