Penguins suffer first loss of season with backup in net instead of Šilovs
The Pittsburgh Penguins lost 2:3 at home to the Winnipeg Jets, their first defeat of the NHL season, with backup goaltender Murašovs in net instead of Artūrs Šilovs.

The Pittsburgh Penguins fell 2:3 at home to the Winnipeg Jets, suffering their first loss of the NHL season. Unlike the team's first two games, when Latvian goaltender Artūrs Šilovs started and helped secure two wins (7:0 over Philadelphia and 6:5 over Montreal in overtime), this time the coaching staff turned to backup goalie Murašov, who stopped 30 of 33 shots.
Midway through the game, Pittsburgh took the lead through Ben Kindel, whose goal was initially waved off for a high stick but was awarded after video review. The third period turned chaotic: Ehlers tied the score, then Lowry put Winnipeg ahead, and Karlsson answered to level the game again — only for Perfetti to score the winning goal for the visitors just nine seconds later.
Winnipeg's Clay Stevenson stopped 29 of 31 shots, helping the Jets maintain a strong start to the season with two regulation wins and one overtime loss.
