Sikorski does not rule out Russian false flag operation against NATO member
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said he would not rule out Russia staging a false flag operation within the next two years to justify an attack on a NATO member state.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has stated in an interview with CBS News that he does not rule out the possibility of Russia carrying out a false flag operation within the next two years to create a pretext for attacking a NATO member country.
Sikorski emphasized that the international community must clearly communicate to Russian leader Vladimir Putin that his intentions are known and that such an action would be completely unacceptable. He added that NATO would defend every inch of its territory.
These remarks follow a recent warning from Latvia's intelligence service that Russia is preparing possible provocations against the Baltic states or Poland, including drone attacks and other hybrid actions, aimed at forcing NATO countries to halt their support for Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Finnish President Alexander Stubb has dismissed concerns, including those raised in Sweden, that Russia intends to test NATO's Article 5 by attacking one of the alliance's members in the near future. Germany's commander-in-chief, however, believes Germany must prepare for a Russian attack by 2029 or even earlier.
