The second set was even closer than the first, with RSU winning it 29:27 to level the match overall. This set proved to be the turning point of the entire encounter, as RSU seized the initiative afterward and never let go.
In the third set, RSU secured a more decisive win, 25:19, and in the fourth set, despite Mārupe's efforts to fight back, RSU closed out the match with a 26:24 win.
