As part of the celebrations marking Riga's 825th anniversary, the capital will host a special musical event called 'My Score Riga'. Organisers describe it as a multi-genre musical city mystery that brings together, in a single dramaturgical flow, the history of Riga, contemporary culture and ideas for the future.
Embankment set as the focal point
The climax of the birthday celebrations will take place on the 11th of November Embankment, where a specially designed concert programme will be performed. The event is scheduled to begin at 22:00.
The concert performance is conceived as a unified artistic experience symbolically linking the city's past, present and future, marking Riga's 825-year anniversary.
