Prince Louis steals the spotlight in family photo after Kate's mountain challenge
After completing the National Three Peaks Challenge, the Princess of Wales shared family snapshots, with her youngest son Prince Louis charming fans by playing with a dog in the background.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, recently took part in the National Three Peaks Challenge, which requires participants to climb the highest mountains in England, Scotland, and Wales. The event aimed to raise funds for the Royal Marsden cancer charity. Kate was supported by her family, who have been a crucial pillar since her cancer diagnosis in 2024.
After the challenge, the princess posted several family photos on social media. They feature her husband Prince William, their children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – as well as Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton, and her brother James Middleton.
In one image, eight-year-old Prince Louis steals the show. While Kate and Charlotte embrace in the foreground, Louis is seen happily playing in the background with one of his uncle James's dogs. James Middleton is a known dog lover who has often spoken about the role dogs have played in his life and his mental health journey.
Following Kate's challenge, James shared an emotional message on social media, saying he is incredibly proud of his sister. He noted that they had previously discussed climbing and the healing power of nature, and praised Kate's determination, resilience, and ability to be a caring mother, wife, daughter, and sister.
