Political Turmoil in Europe: Attal Fires Back, Czech President Sues, Romania in Crisis
French presidential candidate Attal hits back at an internet personality's criticism; Czech constitutional court orders president to attend NATO summit; Romanian parliament rejects new government, deepening political crisis.

French presidential candidate Gabriel Attal has hit back at internet personality Clavicular's criticism of France, calling it "a reflection of his hatred for a nation where women will always be free and proud." The remark came after Clavicular, known for 'looksmaxxing', made negative comments about the country.
The Czech Constitutional Court issued a preliminary injunction in the dispute between President Petr Pavel and Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, ruling that the president must attend the NATO summit. This partially resolves the ongoing conflict over the president's foreign policy powers. President Pavel sued the prime minister for refusing to allow him to attend the summit; the court is expected to hear the case on Wednesday.
Romania's political crisis has intensified after parliament rejected a new government led by center-right politician Adrian Veștea. He fell short of the 233 favorable votes needed to become prime minister. This is the latest episode in a period of political instability following the collapse of the previous government.
