Poland's Border Guard has expelled a 27-year-old Ukrainian citizen who was suspected of organizing illegal migration. The investigation revealed that the man helped migrants cross the Polish-Belarusian border and then transported them deeper into Poland. According to the Border Guard, the Ukrainian citizen was fully aware that he was breaking the law and derived significant financial benefits from this illegal activity.

Polish authorities deemed his further stay in the country undesirable, as he posed a threat to Poland's security and public order. The commander of the Border Guard in Biała Podlaska ordered him to leave Poland immediately. The Ukrainian was escorted to a border crossing and handed over to Ukrainian services. The operation was carried out by the operational investigative department of the Nadbużański Border Guard unit under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin.

The expelled Ukrainian citizen is now barred from entering Poland for six years, which also implies a ban on movement within the entire Schengen zone. This case is part of broader measures Poland is taking to combat illegal migration. Previously, Poland built a 5-meter-high fence with surveillance equipment on the border with Belarus, and recently began constructing an additional barrier to strengthen the existing fence. In April, Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz declared full control over the situation on the border with Belarus.
